My village Dandisahi is situated in Pattamundai block & district of Kendrapara from Orissa.
It is 9 km from Pattamundai & 22 km from Kendrapara. and my village is well known for temples and various kind of festivals mainly for Durga Puja, Tarini Puja & Kartika Purnima. There is a Temple of Maa Durga, Maa Tarini , Maa Dhanakhai, Lord Shiva and Hanumanji . Though I am away from my village since long, I visit my village once every year at the time of Durga Puja & Tarini Puja festival.
All my memories are associated with my village. There is a Bridge connect to our village and Pattamundai. These days, we do not have any problem related to commutation with my village. Everyone is Independent in my village.
Major earnings of the region depend on Service sector and Agriculture. People are educated and helpful. Young generation of my village is heading towards city for higher education.
All festivals include the following: Durga Puja, Tarini Puja, Kartika Purnima, Raja, Sabitri, Dasahara, Dola Purnima, Holi, Janmastami, Ganesh Puja, Saraswati puja, Khuduri kuni osha, Mangala osha, Gurubara osha, Agni utsav.
All types of facilities are available in our village like - Bank & Hospital facility, School & College facility and a mini market is main apartment in the middle of the village people call it Market. I live in Dandisahi village. I want my village development go high and on top of the world.
